京都着物レンタル夢館
At this season every year, Heian Jingu Shrine (平安神宮) is crowded with many visitors enjoying the view of red Shidare-zakura (枝垂れ桜, weeping cherry blossom). The shrine is adorned with vivid vermilion lacquered constructions and is filled with graceful atmosphere with 250 cherry tree on the premises.
I enjoyed the visit there a lot, watching the flowers and the magnificent shrine in vermilion under the blue sky. Plus, in order to conclude my afternoon delight, I had Macha (抹茶, powdered green tea) soft ice cream available at Heian Saryo (平安茶寮) cafe nearby. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
